Honestly whole SM 'akb' rip-off system is stupid because group still can disband after 7 years when in akb members stay usually for 9-10 years or longer... so I would rather see some kpop label doing proper graduation concept and adding new gen members for each year, and whole elections with ranking to announce king/queen... and if HYBE would go for it then I will applaud.

No Lee Sooman got the idea from EXILE HIRO
Long Story short:
EXILE HIRO is the founder (not CEO !) of LDH and LDH works together with Avex cause around half of all artists of LDH are for productions under RythemZone wich is a sublabel of Avex. On a concert-event that Avex holds each year a lot artists of Avex, aswell as shared artists and artists they only post stuff from performed and cause Avex also works with SM Entertainment they had artists of LDH and SM on this concert and for this event Lee Soomn came to Japan and on the concert he met EXILE HIRO and became friends with him and EXILE HIRO told him about the groups he has and mentioned EXILE TRIBE (back than the group had less member and less groups/units used to be under the name of EXILE TRIBE. Since 2019 EXILE TRIBE has 7 groups/units (Aswell as a project-group and a subgroup of a group) and has curently 52 member. (With the ex. member EXILE TRIBE would be around 57 people) and Lee Sooman told EXILE HIRO that it would sound interesting to have such a group. A while later Lee Sooman said in a press that he was planing NCT. The only difference in the concept is that 6 of the 7 groups from EXILE TRIBE have more dancers than vocalists and only 1 group has only vocalists/rapper and not member who just dance like in the other 7. And obvisiously to not look like a total copy-cat Lee Sooman said he was also making units/groups where member get switched or sing in foreign languages etc.
