Was Rose's solo debut a non event? 76

Yeah sales were huge but we've anticipated that already. I feel like the -R- era was kinda non event.

She snatched few wins in music tv shows but she was overshadowed by Brave Girls - Rollin, and IU's album.
Right? I expected her song to like cure cancer when audience listen to it and rid the world of covid but it didn't happen.
What a disappointing debut should have stayed in the basement -100 dungeon
What sort of impact? River turning into wine that kind of impact?
it had pretty good/big impact imo. it reached 436k ul's on melon, reached #3 position (was blocked by iu & br.g) OTG debuted on hot100, both of her songs debuted in multiple countries charts. OTG got 40 million views in first 24hr (most for kpop solo and surpassed all the groups besides bp/bts). she became 3rd most followed kpop artist on spotify (after bts/bp). she broke physical sales for a female solo on gaon, still counting more than 500k copies on hanteo. OTG still charting in melontop10. what else should I say. Rose be slaying
so yeah it is just u.
.
songs like on the ground leave a lasting impact that won't be felt instantly but with time.
Song was okay but forgettable. She should had released something else like country or pop song
She had excellent promo, similar or even better than the group, and the solo was really successful views and sales wise but the song was a little underwhelming to become a big hit.
