Thoughts on Kura Kura?

What are your thoughts on Twice's 8th Japanese single, Kura Kura? It was released almost 6 hours ago.

Did you think it was a bop or flop? What did you think about the music video?

I absolutely loved it! It shot quickly on my #1 spot and surpassed Breakthrough as my favorite Twice JP title track. It's a huge bop with a super amazing music video. Honestly aesthetically better than More and More in my opinion. I didn't really have a favorite Twice music video aesthetically until today. In the beginning it's sort of simple but when you get more into the middle there is a twist and this fantasy world is something very beautiful.

As for the song I'm really liking this beat, though I thought it was a little simple. I was expecting a little more on the instrumental side of things. Dubchaeng's raps were probably my favorite part of the whole song tbh and the tune that was in the teasers. Other than that, there wasn't really much as far as vocals that caught my ears other than the "magic" and "that's my kura kura" and Jihyo's high notes. Nayeon's high notes in the beginning were pretty interesting to listen to also. The chorus is very catchy.

My favorite part is still the music video. It felt so magical to me. I really liked the floral concept but my favorite parts of the video were probably Dahyun's tree, Jihyo's swing (my current aesthetic), and Momo's fire thing. They really like pairing Momo with fire lmao.
