Would you rather hire Idol who already has 8 CF deals or someone who have none, or just 1 or 2?

    1. I'm picking the one which has 8 deals, because if other companies picked this Idol it means he/she is popular (4) 18%
    2. I'd give a chance for someone who doesn't have any deals yet, at least people won't mistake my brand with some cup noodles or lipstick (4) 18%
    3. I will pick person with 1-2 deals, because it means he/she has experience with filming CF's but in same time isn't supporting 12389213 other brands (7) 32%
    4. I'm playing it safe and I will hire Yoo Jaesuk (7) 32%

Imagine you are CEO of some company or director of marketing, you think of doing some cool collab, or just need Idol to promote your brand...

then would you rather hire someone whose face already is in many billboards and ads or would you rather hire someone who doesn't have any CF deals, or just have 1 or 2?

  • As someone who went to school for a minor business/office admin certificate for a bit (looking to go back for a higher certificate in a couple years). I would choose either an lesser known girl or an moderately known idol and build them up. Build my business with them by making them pop in the ads through their personality while also creatively promoting my product.

  • Choosing someone with no or only a few CFs would give you the underdog label and people would watch out for this up and coming new idol and you'd get fat and rich from that

If you choose and idol with a ton of fame and fans already the fans would always hate you for mistreatment because they would think their precious idol deserves better

And if you wanted to make a group and have this idol in it you couldn't use the famous one, too much star power and they would over shadow all the others so you'd want a fresh young kid

  • the more popular the better. doesn't matter if they're in 100 other CFs. no one is going to mix up noodles and lipstick or whatever. i don't see the issue there.

look at jennie for example, she's part of many brands already but still every brand she joins gets a boost from the jennie effect

  • I'll choose the idol with lesser cf only if i see a good potential of growth in them. Checking their hype on sns, performances of their previous cfs. If so, then it will save me a lot of cost and my brand will grow with them.

If not, then popular idol is better. The cost will be higher tho
