Actually, this is the same thing as saying everything that is not cute is girl crush. Blackpink has two sides. A savage side and a more girlish side. Take Stay and Kill This Love, both of the songs are about love. But one is about love that they are losing and the other is about a toxic love and how they want to kill it. Another Example is Twice. Most of their songs have the cute girly love story feel. But it is more than that, take What Is Love and Feel Special. What Is Love has a more of a cute concept while Feel Special has a little more of a mature concept. ITZY is also kind of like that, their concept might be about self love but there are different aspects to it.

Itzy may need to go out of the teen crush soon lets see if this comeback is my make it or break it for them. They still look like babies to go for girl crush. But not shy was good for awhile but didnt age well.

It does seem like Itzy has already ran into a dead end with their concept and sound.

I think this too. I would love Itzy to step outside of the box and give us a really unique fresh concept.

jype creative team brain cells are running out I guess. So don't jugde through teaser pics already.

I guess what makes the similarity even more apparent is the styling. I don't really feel an identity for each era that helps to differentiate them, the styling and clothing kinda blends in with each other.

But i can also see that for people who absolutely love this certain sound, they wouldn't mind another song with similar vibe.

This cb is literally a continuation on not shy.It was announced that it was second part of the mv.Thats why it looks sort of similar.

If you look at the end of Note Shy, the screen turns black and white. Generally, MV ending are linked to the next Mv in kpop, so I felt they will shifting their concept in the next CB. They will come with a darker, more mature concept. Maybe they could switch from Teen Crush to Dark Girl Crush.
