1. TRUST me we don’t care And 2. You especially shouldn’t be saying this if the songs aren’t good, like we could definitely tell if your idol writes their own music and 3. The constant dragging of idols who don’t is so dumb to me bc songwriting doesn’t make anyone more of an idol nor is it something idols need to do, if anything bless the idols that recognize that they can’t write music to save their lives rather than putting up a front knowing good and well you’re terrible
People bragging about their idol writing their own lyrics is soo embarrassing

It's embarrassing in general, so lifeless that they feel the need to brag about another person, means they lack achievements in their own life.

FACTS. I hate the way some people drag those idols who don't write their own lyrics. People should realize that some can be extremely talented in songwriting but suck at singing and vice versa. They only care about their idols and its very rare to see stans actually knowing the names of producers, song writers, composers, etc who made their idols into a complete package.

Writing own lyrics is not even an obligation and determines the song quality. The only thing that could be an advantage for writing or producing your own song, is the satisfaction that you can sing your own hard work. The one that bothers me is when some people underestimated idols that achieve something even if the song is not self-written/producing.

Honestly, the era of true singer/songwriters is coming to an end globally. Nowadays, music is a commodity that is produced in bulk by songwriting teams and ghostwriters sitting in front of Macbook Pros and using computer programs, songs are bought and sold like used cars.
Back in the day, hair metal bands like Poison would be teased and shaded mercilessly for their hair, makeup, leather and spandex outfits, their alcohol and drug fueled binges, and all the excesses of the 80s . If you just looked at their photos or their crazy videos, you wouldve probably written them off as no talent hacks but in reality, all of these trashy looking hair bands wrote all their own shit and played all their own instruments. They were actual artists and musicians.
(And i havent even mentioned the actual rock gods like Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi).

We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy. How many Kpop or local acts can actually write and perform a song like this? This shit has REAL MELODY, REAL CHORDS and CHORD PROGRESSIONS, LAYERED INSTRUMENTALS, REAL LYRICS. I dont think there's a single pop act in the Hot 100 or Melon 24 that can write songs like this completely on their own. Maybe Taylor Swift and Soyeon. Maybe.

This is the zenith of song and lyric writing right here:

Idols who have lyric writing credits get royalties, so if they manage their finances they will have more freedom in their future career path. Song and lyric writing can become a form of passive income like investing in stocks, commodities, and real estate. Intellectual property makes passive income.
It's not something to drag people about but let's not pretend that benefits don't exist.

bragging about someone else's skills is of course embarrassing. it even goes for singing, dancing and visuals as well
Yes

Praising someone else's skill is a whole other thing but bragging about it like your faves are superior to everyone else simply because of their skill can be embarrasing.
