The success of a song doesn't depend of the producers, its the group that has to carry it
Why does JYP always has to interfere in all of his group?

He did ICSM?

oh it turns out he has credits in only writing the lyrics while the song itself was produced by someone else. I guess my point just got strengthened lmao 😂

He probably wrote "risky risky" I love and hate that rap

I think Day6 is the only group he's not credited in any of the songs of not even skz was completely safe
Maybe JYP should start producing for them so that Day6 can be more sucessfull.

What's wrong if he IS a producer too

I know this might seem weird, but for ITZY, I prefer JYP songs apart from MITM. Icy is by far my fav title followed by Not Shy, Wannabe, Dalla Dalla, and MITM is last.
For TWICE, Signal was, is, and will be at the bottom of my list. WIL? is a good track and it's starting to rise in my list again. For Feel Special, it's one of the best TWICE songs. Alcohol-Free is also really nice and the vocals are perfect for their range.
In conclusion, I believe JYP is either hit or miss. I don't hate him for producing or anything, and I like some of his songs. The only thing bothering me is that the songs he produce nowadays don't usually have amazing chart performances.

So, a bit of a fun fact for those that actually dig into the lyrics of that rap. The "wiggy wiggy" part was poorly translated. (Or rather, it was transliterated instead of actually translated). What Chaeyoung was actually singing was 위기 (wi-gi), the Korean word for "crisis". So the actual translation of that line should be "Risky risky [crisis crisis], This is an emergency." Not sure why the M/V's translator chose to use the English word "wiggy" instead of "crisis".
And re: the topic of this thread, I never understand people who think that JYP's "interfering" with the groups by producing songs for them. Please go look up what the role of an A&R team is. And then maybe you could read the interview with the A&R producer who worked on GOT7 and TWICE's early albums, and what she had to say about JYP's songs being included even in his own albums.

Just red the article, it’s really detailed. I don’t know why JYP groups fans refused to at knowledge the fact that all the songs from title to b-sides go through a selection process. They don’t just give you random songs.
