Okay in 2019, the last time I saw an age related article, the average age of SGO was 18.5 years-old.
Since 2nd generation recruiting is still going on now, SGO is still all 1st gen. In that case, the average of the group should be around 20.5 now. More or less as there had been graduations.
Most girls in BNK or JKT could easily fit into AKB or SNH lineup tbh. They all follow the same East Asian (particularly leaning towards Japanese aesthetics) beauty standards of fair skin, big eyes, etc.
In this regard, I'd say JKT & MNL seem more truly diverse, since they have the biggest mix of EA & SEA looks, whereas SGO & BNK tend to lean more East Asian.

I actually think there are girls in the list who fit East Asian K/C/JPOP standards but those standards aren't the sole arbiters in deciding what is beautiful in Vietnam. So yes, I think the OP is accurate in saying there is diverse beauty in that group.

Yeah, Sunny has quite a dark skin compared to other members in SGO48 but has a clearer skin than Sachi who has the darkest skin in SGO48.

Thai isn't a real ethnicity anyways - it's a made up ethno-national concept that came about in the pre-WWI years to drum up nationalism. Thai Chinese have been a part of Thailand ever since Day 1. I think Vietnamese entertain has a good role model in Thailand. Thais are proof that SEAsians can break into the biggest markets in Asia.
Thanks for being a normal person. I have nothing against Vietnamese entertainment or Vietnamese people, I even try to support it so we can grow together as fellow SEA. But I have to admit, I do notice that many Vietnamese people tend to compare themselves against Thailand. The Japanese girl Yamaishi Natsumi who appears on the following video said in Vietnamese to the Japanese male youtuber Kiki said that she also wants to do her best to have a clearer skin since she lived in Vietnam due to seeing the Vietnamese girls around her who want to have a clearer skin by applying creams.
In general, the Japanese people have a clearer skin than the Vietnamese people.
Kiki said that Japanese also like a clear skin but he said that he didn't pay attention to the skin tone when he was in Japan.
Kiki said that the Vietnamese take a lot of care of their skin to have a clearer skin.
Yamaishi Natsumi has already a clear skin but she wants to do her best even more to have a clearer skin due to the influence of the Vietnamese girls around her.
Yamaishi Natsumi is from Kanagawa and has been living in Vietnam for 3 years now and she is 21 years old.

Tyga was born in the USA, grew up there and raps in English and has a music video that has more than 1 billion views and other music videos that have hundred of millions of views but he doesn't rap in Vietnamese so he doen't count as a V-rapper.
Yeah, skin colour has importance in Vietnam, in Asia and around the world in general except if you are an albino in Black Arica.
Having a clear skin gives you in general more advantages than having a dark skin.

What I said was that Thailand is diverse in looks & ethnicities - East Asian features in the North, Laotian/Khmer features in the Northeast, mixed in the central regions, Malay features in the south - something you're refuting despite it obviously being true.
I don't really know what you're obsessed with Thailand but lol you're looking real dumb.
