Not gonna lie im in the camp of surprised people BUT i will say it is a positive surprise because i do feel their messaging is of self love and anyone should be able to relate regardless of gender

Why would anyone assume LSRFM would have more male fans?

They dont have a clearcut visual like Karina, Wonyoung, or Miyeon, or an entire line of visuals like Ive, or someone with "body proportions" like Eunbi, Karina, Natty, etc that men supposedly lust after. Their outfits are no more revealing than any other GG group. Their songs arent about boys or love, but just standard "be yourself, be confident, be fearless" Kpop lyrics that everyone else uses.

All the stereotypical reasons why men are assumed to stan GGs are no more applicable to LSRFM than they are to any other GG.

Their male fandom has a strong online presence in Korea. Many of them are former IZONE stans and are notoriously known for being toxic towards other girl groups

That's the most equal ratio I've seen from any kpop groups

Girl groups with a decent popularity always have mostly female fans.

It's surprisingly that LSF have that many male fans.

Yes, but it's not like Sakura is a top tier in AKB either. LSF fanbase in Japan are still mostly females.
