who's more legendary in Korea, g.o.d or SNSD?

Well this was in 2nd gen time when the Hallyu wave was just beginning and in the baby phase. They were arguably the most popular group internationally next to Big Bang so technically if you don't count Big Bang then yes. lol.

I feel like g.o.d. was legendary in the way that they were part of what started kpop as we know it today but SNSD is legendary because they were a symbol of a new era a kpop,

It's hard to compare so I say it's a draw

Some say after H.O.T disbandment, kpop consumption in korea dropped by more than 50%.

Seo Taiji and the Boys literally ruled Korea during their time. Every second teenager was following them. No wonder they are the only group to sell more than 2m with one album other than BTS.

Given the eras and what was at the disposal at the time, I'd say we can't really compare.
