Every time a stupid hater tries to push the narrative NewJeans is losing steam, I see a funny stat like this

    LMAO

    We ain't goin nowhere :pepe-toast:

And when they're free from HYBE and make the most anticipated comeback arguably in K-Pop history, it will be my greatest pleasure to remind haters here and elsewhere how they were so adamant about being on the wrong side of it.

  • Its a wrong stat

    Lsrfm has +4m yesterday

Even if that was accurate, and it isn't, it doesn't effectively change anything about the fact NewJeans is still putting up ridiculous numbers for a group that hasn't done ANYTHING since March and has released NOTHING for over a year.

It's not just a normal hiatus. They have completely removed themselves from the spotlight

    And still have this power.

    Should I post circle next?

  • It's so sad that QWER will soon be out of that list 🥲

  • It would not say having less than half of Twice streams is a good sign, I mean Twice peaked years ago.

Who is going to knock them out in the next 4 months? They might be fine.

...What? You are absolutely clueless on absolutely everything. Twice are having the best year of their careers internationally, and they have released a ton more songs than the zero dropped by NewJeans.

Being able to accumulate as much or more streams than their peers, with zero new songs and a relatively tiny discography to boot, is the flex of all flexes.

they're touring till march 25, not sure if they will release anything soon

also their recent comeback didnt perform too well so next release is a coin toss

well this is what my chart brain tells me anyways i just want content

What do Twice have? One single/year that are peaking at lower and lower chart positions. It's not like they are in their golden period. But sure, they have a lot of songs.

You think NJZ pulling similar daily numbers to LFSM and Aespa with no release in 18 months isn't a good sign? Then your Twice opinion is factually wrong. Your such a troll.

  • Look at this Day6 upscale Day6 truly is that bitch

And yes you should post circle and YoutubeKorea for more Day6 promo

And they haven't had a proper comeback everyone please look forward to Day6 comeback

As I said, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Twice is currently hitting career highs on both Spotify and the Billboard. They are currently the most streamed girl group right now, surpassing BLACKPINK.

Instead of trying to troll or trying way too hard to look smart, just quietly observe and learn.

  • I knew that would trigger your Day6 glaze when I posted it :meme-big-banged:

  • And are not this just because of Demon Hunters/"Takedown" and very little to do with Twice as a group?

That doesn't help your point in the slightest. KPDH is turning into a cultural phenomenon that grows each day, and it's setting records we haven't seen either in 30+ years or ever.

    But it's weak competition, sure.

I'm sure you understand that my point that it's not Twice that suddenly popular again, but the movie.

  • And are not this just because of Demon Hunters/"Takedown" and very little to do with Twice as a group?

If you delete ALL streams of Takedown AND the non-Megan version of Strategy (even though that version got more than 30mil streams this year before k-pop Demon Hunters came out), Twice would be number two on the list.

    For context.

You seem to be obsessed with talking about Twice on a thread that has nothing to do with them.

imo you should go ahead and tell us what you would consider to be "impressive" performance for NewJeans, if their current stats are not impressive. How many daily streams should they be getting this far from their last comeback? That's a stat that exists independent of the supposedly weak competition, right?

It was more Yama that was very keen to jump to Twice defence and say how great they are right now, I just stick to my point Twice peak years ago and if NewJeans that is supposed to be the new nr1 group are that far behind them, it's not really a big sign of strenght. A lot of NJ fans claim they are the greatest ever in kpop and if that would be the case I'm a bit suprised they are so far after Twice. If you compare NJ to other groups, of cource their number are good.

  • Hmm... I'm starting to suspect that you're on Papi's payroll...

That light bulb is never going to even flicker on for a second, huh?

These are SPOTIFY statistics aka international streams aka the audience Twice experiences the most success with present day.

If you want to look at the Korean digital numbers, I also linked those and you will see NewJeans is STILL a top 3 group, but I saw you have elected to ignore that for some reason.

Nobody is arguing Twice is at their peak popularity in Korea, but globally they are having one of their strongest years of their career. They have NEVER had the type of Billboard success they're enjoying today.

You think this pleases me? Onces just got more ammunition, and I only like a couple of them.

You are trying way too hard with your HYBEcel concept right now. NewJeans ranking above their peers despite zero new songs is hilarious and impressive.

And it also shows they haven't faded in popularity at all.

NJZ are a newish group, not released a song in 18 months with no new album in nearly 2 years and yet still in top 3 daily streams. How is it not a sign of strength?

PS- you started the Twice talk to insult NJZ stats and no one claims NJZ are the greatest.

  • :meme-sure-jan:

You post about them every single day because of how much you don't care about HYBE. Right.

Have you not yet understand it's about you being right and me being right? I thought it was pretty clear by know that it's about that...... ^^ As I had said before, had you and other NJ fans so often been nasty I have not cared so much about it. It's your own fault.

Because how Yama and other hard core fantix New Jeans fans sounds they are the greatest kpop group of them all. So that why I said the numbers was not that impressive compared to Twice.

I don't now what NJZ you are talking about, never heard of any group like that so I can't have been insulting them. Are they a new group?

  • Very impressive indeed!

Doing more daily streams than highly active groups with 2x the amount of original songs obviously puts into perspective their dominance. But it's like it's impossible for there not to be some kpop fan arguing against simple logic for no reason lol ;(

No one is doing that. Talking up stats are you new to kpop? click on the back button and check the main kpop page you'll see many posts doing it.

I'll repeat NJZ are not currently active not released anything in 18 months and are in the top 3 Kpop GGs, its amazing stat.
