  • This is starting much sooner than I expected, the same month as their comeback. I really hope JYPE isn't making the same dumb mistake as those idiots at SM did with Irene & Seulgi by scheduling the start of their tour too closely to the comeback, resulting in very short promotions.

I also hope they actually intend to fill all those big gaps curently in the schedule, because I hate bloated tours with the dates spread too far apart. Go ahead and have a big tour, but also get it over with in a timely manner so they can move on to other projects.

Also pretty peculiar that they didn't announce North American dates right away, since it's one of Twice's biggest markets at this point, but they must have something in mind, because there's no way they'd just exclude it.

Btw I love that K-onces not only got a venue downgrade but also have to travel all the way to Incheon to see Twice.. #deserved

This is a new arena. It's probably a better venue actually, just not located in Seoul. Do I care if it's inconvenient for Korean fans? No, no I do not.

Idk I always expected them to have SK stops in July so I am fine with it but I didn't think they would schedule them just a week after their comeback.

If you're expecting a solo or MiSaMo comeback between those 2-3 weeks gap, don't hold your breath. That is not enough time for a Twice release.

No, I'm expecting more tour dates in those gaps. Surely they can't be doing nothing for whole months at a time. 13 locations in half a year would be laughably bad.

I also forgot they already revealed the album's release date... which is indeed only a week before the tour starts. So... we're not even getting an actual comeback basically. They're just releasing a full album with no time for any promotions whatsoever. Yay. :skull:

  • So happy to see Taiwan dates!!

Given that it's Twice's first time in Taiwan, h‍ow did they manage to skip Taipei (the capital and most populated area) entirely? Kaohsiung is on the other end of the island, ~350km (~220mi) away.

NiziU (Twice's company juniors) are like in Japan 99.9% of the time .... even then, so far, their only performance outside of Japan and Korea was their Taiwan fancon in Feb 2024 ... and they have a fancon in Hong Kong in a few days

Kaohsiung National Stadium is the largest stadium in Taiwan. It is located just 90 minutes from Taipei by high-speed rail. The city's infrastructure is more spacious and easier to navigate than Taipei. Most major concerts are typically held in Kaohsiung City.

While Kaohsiung's National Stadium's may be the largest, Taipei does have the Taipei Dome, with its 40000+ capacity, and I f‍eel Twice could do t‍wo shows there instead of o‍ne in Kaohsiung. Or, have o‍ne show in Taipei and o‍ne in Kaohsiung to provide easy access to both the north and south of the island.

  • Full 360° concert stage

Nah, I'm Taiwanese. I've been following all the tweets and threads since the announcement. All the fans are happy that the concert will be in Kaohsiung. It's best to stay away from Taipei for political reasons.
