Which group suffered the most from this hype drama

Everyone saying NJZ but seriously, no.
Yes, there is a possibility that they might never be able to continue their careers anymore but who do you think will be blamed for that?? LSF and ILLIT, ofc.
There is only so many insults that can be hurled at BSH and HYBE (which, I doubt either of them gaf) before all those insults and hate start getting directed toward the artists (like it has before and likely will, again).
And these are artists who actually see all the remarks and comments and already possess an open wound from their previous hate trains.

Illit and lesserafim, why? Cus they did nothing, had nothing to gain from this entire scandal and still their names were dragged, lesserafim was labelled as "princess of Hybe" while receiving the bare minimum and Illit were labelled as "bullies and arrogant" and other names while being freshly rookie group. I'm glad, illit are well received by Japanese audience, at least they can promote there.

What if I said it's every gg that will debut after NJZ because people will run and scream plagiarism over long black hair and y2k aesthetics..? We're already seeing the results of Min Heejin's plagiarism coke rant with how trolls and toxic people will call any new girl group that dares to have another other than a girl crush concept, a NJZ ripoff (maybe this is just on twitter though.) hear me out guys

NJZ

We are talking about suffering. While they definitely had some public scrutiny from Korean fans, internationally they have become pretty huge and most people do not even know the NJ copying allegations unless they are a heavy K-Pop fan.I think NJ has destroyed themselves possibly, just defending a woman who has not even bothered actually defending or protecting them. Those kids should have never been put on the front lines in a war between two egotistical millionaires. I worry they are going to be blackballed and MHJ is just going to walk off into the sunset to start a new project once her non compete clause with HYBE is over.
LSF and Ill-it for sure have also suffered a lot of abuse at the hands of hardcore K-Pop fans though and all of it has been unneeded and cruel.
I agree, except NJ put themselves there.
If they had remained quiet, everyone would have been full of sympathy for them.
Happy to see Le Sserafim bounce back. Wasn't a big fan of their debut work, so never spent much time on their music, but their latest music is AMAZING

When all is said and done, and time has done its thing it will be NewJeans who would emerge as the biggest losers. Illit debuted with a hit song and will ultimately end up doing well now that we have seen how fickle public sentiment is. They can recuperate for their losses with smart marketing.
Who won't be recovering is NewJeans. Whether they lose the case or not (it's likely they will) the trust between the company and the artists has been damaged irreparably. NewJeans, if they lose, either will have to negotiate with Hybe or pay the contract termination fees. The contract termination fees is so massive they will either go in debt, try to re-debut and work while still failing to pay the whole of it or are rich/have rich backers who will pay off their debt. In case they negotiate with Hybe the upper hand is with the company.
And if this was not enough NewJeans, at least for the time being, has lost any goodwill with the international fans and casual listeners. NewJeans were massively propped up by BTS fans at their debut and that support is gone. Indie and niche casual listeners and Pitchfork critics do not have the cultural capital to get them the commercial success that would be even more important for them now. How well they do in Korea is up to the whims of public.
NewJeans is the only group here whose career is unstable and uncertain. So no Illit and Lesserafim are not losing as much NewJeans.

Illit and Lesserafim will be blamed by no one but NewJeans' idiot fans. The mass hysteria is slowly waning from the public consciousness as the legal part of this whole mess is picking up. Now the time for mediaplay is over. Anyone with half a brain understands that this is a legal dispute and any outcome will depend on the court. Plus whatever happens NewJeans did it to themselves.
At most people will curse the company. But the people who dislike Hybe will keep doing so with or without NewJeans and frankly a lot of it is deserved. They went out to buy legitimacy instead of building up to it. Their best bet is and has always been BTS and now they are even more dependent on them. Hybe is in an existential crisis but for the time being they can bandage their wounds.
NewJeans is more than likely finished. Maybe a few years down the line some of the members can start afresh in entertainment or fashion or something.

Newjeans, but if they win the case (I think it's one of a kind case) then it will be illit (cause they are younger than lsfm)

NJ, who else?.....

Those groups, combined, never made up for what BTS brought to the company. Like sure they are successful in their own right in multiple levels but Hybe got their conglomerate status because of BTS and even after their attempt to diversify BTS still made up more than nearly 50% of the total revenue.
