Should MHJ/NJZ have to apologize or take any responsibility for hate trains against ILLIT and LSF?

This is something I saw a bit frequently on social media, people demanding an apology or something from NJZ or MHJ. What do you think? Honestly I think it'd only make it worse if they acknowledged it and, like any other group, they should not be responsible for their crazy fans starting hate trains. Poll is anonymous so speak your truth.

  • I don’t think MHJ should take any responsibility on the hate trains. And I also think Hanni should have had held back from saying she knows the situation envolves another team. Because the hate trains were fed by very hateful and miserable people that do not represent NJZ. The people online that hate on other groups choose to do so. They chose to bring hell on innocent girls, nor ILLIT or LSF had anything to do with their label’s choices.

The hate train isn’t MHJ or NJZ’s fault. It’s the choice of cruel and soulless people online and they should be hold accountable for it, morally and legally.

    but it's complicated

I would focus on Min here and the fact that she accused everyone of plagiarism and copying, meanwhile she herself copied/plagiarised concepts and works of artists from past generations/different countries/movies etc.

Don't throw a rock at someone, when you yourself commited same shit

  • even if those 2 are on the same "side" I wouldn't lump them together for responsibility.

The hate trains and bad press everyone is experienced is the fault of MHJ and Hybe for using the artists as cannon fodder

Agree I probably should've polled them separately or not at all. But now people have to comment and clarify :meme-think-about-it:

I assume most voting yes mean MHJ.

  • isn't the question which I asked in the megathread that should any idol have any obligation for the actions of their fans?

are we not responsible only for the actions that we do and we cause rather than the actions of people acting on our behalf or in our best interests? even if those people who claim to act in our best interest inadvertently hurt others in the process?

  • No.

If idols/agencies/exec have to take responsibility for the idiocy of fans. Then BTS will have to be apologizing non stop and as well other idols etc.

People are responsible only for their own and actions, and not of others, definitely not by association.

At best they can use their influence to tell fans not to behave like jerks.

But I have not seen any idol do that so far.

NJZ were reasonable when they said they did not want to talk about the other team. But unfortunately that can't be avoided, because the idols are the face of whatever the executives do behind the scenes.

Ofc anybody with any little brain will know that Illit/LSF girls would have had very little say in the choices made for them. Yet they as the 'faces' will get both credit/discredits. That is the price of fame.

NJZ/MHJ might feel sorry for the individuals impacted, but there is little to apologize for.

Even if the courts decide that illit's themes were not plagiarism, that is such a grey area, that apologies are not necessary.

The girls were simply caught in the corporate crossfire.

  • NJZ nope. The hate was generated by deranged twitter/reddit stans that now will have idols to take the blame for it instead of taking any responsibility for it.

Meanwhile, NJZ antis will start a new hate train against them this time and will never let them forget it.

Better let the sleeping dogs lie. Nothing to gain here.

MHJ, I don't think showed any remorse or concern at all. So I don't even think she cares for apologies.
