Was reading an interview with some K-star who donated a big sum to a disaster a few years ago that directly impacted his hometown.

He did so discretely and did NOT want it publicised.

His management company publicised it anyway, but days later.

He then copped grief from netizens for donating "late", even though chronologically he was one of the first, if not the first, to donate.

You then have now where Jennie was getting hate online for not donating fast enough.

I hate how people are acting weird about donating towards a real world tragedy. I can't believe something like donating to a cause becomes so toxic. People are making fun of groups/idols for donating less than other idols. Not naming idols or groups but I feel you shouldn't have anti-behavior for something like this.

Worst part is I doubt these toxic fans donated a cent towards this
