It’s hard to measure what girl group is above all others bcs all these girl groups excel in some niche or category that the others do not.

Snsd were a legend in korea, No one can beat Twice in Japan, Blackpink dominate overseas and in the west, and aespa have just started to become a staple in Korea.

There’s no girl group who genuinely topples the rest in every category like BTS does for boy groups and I don’t think we’ll ever see a gg like that.

BP is the biggest kpop girl group ever and that hasn't changed

Is funny. In other Thread "Aespa is the most successfull SM girlgroup?" some people said it was not possible because SNSD was legendary, Aespa could never and Bla Bla Bla. But now these same people pick BP over SNSD as the biggest GG without hesitation. I guess SNSD was not that big afterall.
