Look, I can see a vision of kidz bop kpop. With good regulations, it could work.

But to have an audition program? Those programs have a lot of drama, tension and stress not suitable for children. The pressure to know that you're being judged in front of the country.

This is predatory practice.

Behind closed doors is one thing with younger trainees. While there is a positive to survival shows, I'm worried that the negatives outweigh the positives.

Younger children have a difficult time navigating their sense of self and should be focused on self-expression with proper guidance.

What scares me with survival shows, kids have to control themselves and face disproportionate backlash. Some kids are able to regulated themselves in a healthy manner, but most between 4-7 have difficulty doing so. And it's completely normal and just need guidance.

Survival shows are unable to give that guidance and let the child explore their feelings.

All of this will be broadcasted for the world to see. It's won't just be the professional adults, trainees and peers watching them make mistakes. The world will have input on that drama and put judgement on the kids.

All in all, I'm concerned about how this will affect children (since they're advertising this to kids who are at a VERY sensitive age).

It's always confusing when they want to go with younger idols. Most of them aren't anywhere close to perform on the big stage, so it doesn't make sense to rush their debuts. Rarely do we find prodigies and even then it's not good for their mental health to debut this early
