In defense of Jisoo, (YES, I'm gonna do that😅), she's a rookie actress, and she's a Kpop Idol. There aren't many Idols whom are actually top-notch actors!

I didn't see any Jisoo Kdrama yet, I have like 300 on my PTW list, so... but this is a lame zombie comedy, it has to be cringe as hell. Also, people don't know or just tend to forget, it's not always about the actors. They're basically puppets. Especially the rookies. If the script or the director sucks, even Meryl can't make it better. Jisoo has a long way to go as an actress, but she can be a much better actress than a Kpop Idol, for sure.

if we have to compare to other kdramas then Jisoo can surely improve on crying scenes but she did sooooo good with the drama... she suits comedy so well esp knowing her actual personality.... with each episode it gets better so hopping for more Jisoo...

Can't comment on her korean pronunciation but she doesn't sound odd in the slightest... I dont get the hate esp by ppl who haven't even seen both episodes... feels like articles are prepared in advance n it's just vague criticism without actually telling in which scene she didn't perform well you know what I mean

So how is she now going to do what she was set out to do, and still be awful lol

you are legit being anti i don't find her voice awful her voice isn't well utilized

this is not true she didn't train to be an actress it's just that she was in the acting club when she was in school so she was more likely interested in acting but she still auditioned to be an idol and trained as to be an idol

so you are giving opinion based on people negative comments? are you serious? btw those aren't all the scenes she has many. also this supposed to be horror comedy the reactions are supposed to be overly exaggerated

Sure, but as you said, it was 10 years ago. If you stop doing something for a decade, you will forget even the basics. It takes a lot of time to be better in everything, not just acting. And yes, a lot of Kdrama is cringe and many actors are not that good, but there are a LOT of great Kdrama with amazing actors. Usually the cringe ones are the romcoms. Mostly because of the script.

There's nothing wrong with criticism if it's not just: "Oh, she's crap."

A lot of actors starting their careers as a theater or musical actor for reason. That's where you can learn the most, not doing Kdramas.

This is what I was saying since their debut. Jisoo is actually the only BP member who's different. She has a unique vocal tone, the only thing she lacks is training, but that's 90% on YG. Now, she can do anything she wants. If she doesn't develop her vocal skills, it's all on her. Obviously, she's not gonna be better in this comeback, unless she trained in the past 2 years. I think FLOWER was released 2 years ago. In 2 years she could be much a better singer, we'll see.

Her dancing skills are not important, she's not a dancer, and not a rapper. Honestly, I don't think she trained in the past 2 years, maybe in the last couple of months for this cb, because she's more focused on acting. If she can be on Miyeon's level one day, I will applaud her!

What's up with all the hate?! There's nothing wrong with her acting in those clips. Unless there's something wrong with her diction, I'm not fluent in korean.

She's portraying a very funny character and I'm 100% buying it. And let's face it... that was actually a great drunk person scene. I always cringe when I watch those in kdramas and I can safely say that watching Jisoo playing drunk was one of the least cringy scenes of the sort I've ever watched.
