WTF is this AKP ??? 😱😱 ( TRIGGER WARNING)

I believe that was written during the period where there were a lot of people trying to write for "shock value". I cannot say I agree with their statement but I think they were doing on purpose to rage bait.

AKP believe it or not, used to be more adult leaning in jokes and such. As back during second gen, most of the fans were teens who were inching toward adulthood (16-19), and adults, who visited the site.

There has for sure been a culture shift over the last few years and there are much LESS comments or jokes like that, and it is not a negative change in my opinion.

I cannot speak to the thought process of whom wrote it, but as far on how is it still up, there are a LOT of old articles still up that were written during an earlier time of AKP, which are a little tacky in hindsight.

I am sure it is likely an time management thing, because to go back and remove any articles with distasteful comments that have been posted since 2006, would take a very long time. I do not honestly think they thought of young teens at that time as it was still before younger teens got into K-Pop heavily with the breakout of Blackpink, BTS, B.A.P. and Momoland in 2017-2018. Now I personally do not speak like that, however some people do, and as it was during the time when the site was more geared towards a mature audience, that was likely the reason it got published.

Edit: I hope you do not think I disagree with your viewpoint as it is not the case. I actually agree the comment made me WTF as well.

I know, I worked for the other place years ago. From my understanding the owner of the other site decided it was best for them to discontinue it. As it was taking up a lot of their IRL time, and they pretty much have been offline since then.
