No hate but its a lil too early to call them the best of their generation seeing as SM just stepped up their game w/ AESPA this year.

SNSD v 2NE1 purely because Sone v BJ was hilarious and fun. Tons of shit posting and memes

Twice v BP felt more mean spirited and definitely devolved quicker to death threats and racism.

Well the rivalry of the current generation is MHJeanz vs. BSHYBE, hardly about Aespa.

There's been minimal beef between NJ and Aespa, since Aespa were once of the first groups to come out and support them against Hybe.

Either Ive vs NJ from 2022/23 or vs Hybe Stans would make more sense.

BP vs Twice, believe it or not, the war is still raging.

Even tho there was beef between fandoms, BP was light years ahead Twice so didn't really feel like real rivalry.

At the time of Twice's dominance in physical sales their actual rival was probably more Red Velvet, as the "representative girl group" of korea of the times. BP had their great debut and did very well commercially but people were quick to dismiss BP as a launching platform for the social media careers of the girls as individuals. In fcat people were trying to clown on BP for being barely top3 and having to fend off groups like MAMAMOO and g-idle for their spot on the podium. Then BP took off right at th epoint Twice started losing steam wrt to their original core fandom.

Aespa and NJ are from two different ends of their gen (Early covid and comfortably post covid) and have thus far completely managed to dodge around each others realeases for the most part. Also their fandoms aren't really going at each other focus their efforts on the rest of the target-righ environment.

Aespa vs NJ is actually SM vs HYBE which has morphed into Kpop vs HYBE

I picked Twice vs BP only because it was neck and neck for some time and both fandoms were equal in their rivalry with one ups whenever they had the chance

aespa have shined in completely different time than Newjeans, it feel like it was IVE vs Newjeans half of time

as far as I remember from those times, the rivalry between 2NE1 and Girls' Generation was intense yet respectful, because targeting individual members for hate was not a common occurrence.
