I've been tracking Third Generation girl group concert attendance, and for Twice in 2024, I'm showing attendance of 572161 over 11 shows, with only o‍ne of those shows being in the US. So these numbers are clearly incomplete.

Sm never reports the number of attendees on many of the stops sadly….

Not sure how accurate these numbers are, since Twice had more tour dates than that this year. They have the most impressive numbers regardless.

It's not only US, this is an overall stat within certain period of time.

Also, if the company didn't provide enough data, Billboard can't post the full stats either.

This is like a monthly data or so.

I mean, just look at IU's stats. This is clearly just 1 or 2 months of data.

I think for most acts, including Lee Jieun, they only take the US and European shows

As usual, that one soloist sneaks into the ranks dominated by groups and SolUnits (Subunit of 1 member, of active groups, leveraging group fandom).

As to collaborating with foreign acts, I am skeptical, it mostly ends up diluting what is unique about Kpop and the act. And IU is the flagbearer for Korean lyrical expression.

But her choices in general has been impeccable, so let us see what happens.

Hopefully she won't get obligated into singing gibberish, once was enough.

I don't think so,

If my recollection serves,

Bibi released a day before IU, while TWS & few others were already charting.

While Bibi went to #1, IU was at #6 & #8

I think that IU could not unseat a few weeks old TWS (and others) is more shocking, than her not beating Bibi who released alongside.
