I mean, they are kinda already stepped in it, so might as well go all in.
Like the alluded to, they are perfectly fine losing the NewJeans IP and starting over. They are still young and can still have a good career.
If they started over and redebut, they'd be around the age Aespa was when they debut/Black Mamba era, and look where Aespa's career is now. If Ador doesn't meet demands, starting over might be the move. -

Earning a shit load of money autimatically makes it much easier. You are rich, it does not matter much if your job goes to hell. So you don't need to work if you don't like it, if you are not on a contrat that is. A lot of other rich kpop artist probably also have a "lot of balls", they just don't dragit up in the open.

Aren't you the same guy who constantly says they should shut up and deal with it? It's just funny because it seems you are quite aware of why they do not need to shut up and deal with it. No, most of us are probably not in a position to do what NewJeans are doing, but I don't think that detracts from what they did, as you seem to be implying.

No, most of us are probably not in a position to do what NewJeans are doing, but I don't think that detracts from what they did, as you seem to be implying.
Yeah, well, if they want to go with their music in a good way and without getting problems the best for them is to make peace and finish their contract. If they pick a fight it can be a long time where they can't do any music and they risk loosing also. But having money in the bank makes things easier and often makes your ego grow.
If they want to focus on the music they should make a deal with Hybe, it that mean stay with them or somekind of settlment where they are free to go don't matter as long as they don't pick a fight.

Meh its iffy tbh.
Going against HYBE would put them at a significant disadvantage (losing their IP, etc). But if they stay, they will be mistreated a lot more than previously.
Plus they have more support than most other groups.
I believe some of all this mess is simply PR but I maybe wrong.
Props to them for standing up for themselves so publicly, though. That's not something you see everyday.
