I have my gripes with the lyrics but I agree I think it's the MV that kinda ruined it for me. I hope my love of baemon is known atp but I just cannot take all the girls seriously in something like this, they are too young and cute lol. The full swag/rap for every member was too much and they should stick to just having asa/ruka and maybe ahyeon doing rap parts. Like even BP has never done a concept that leans this hard into hip-hop/swag, idk why YGE thinks its a good idea for baemon.

I think it could've been better if the MV was a more elegant boss bitch vibe which is what Drip looks like it may be. I hope YGE gets the message eventually because they have more than enough talent to pull of plenty of other concepts.

I wouldn't go that far because the rapper line, except Ahyeon is great, they only need REAL Hip Hop writers and let Asa and Ruka and probably even Rami write the lyrics. They can't do worse.😂

If you observe it very carefully, i think its because alot of their old inhouse producers or to some extent teacher from the bigbang era to blackpink era are almost gone, or at least YGE lost whoever teaching the "YG swag" from BB until BP. Thats why treasure and now BM didnt feel the same as their seniors, it's just not there anymore

yeah I'm not a fan only a casual listener but I do notice like they're trying too much on the swag and cool-ness like there could be a balance but they're trying too hard when they could find a balance (maybe like what itzy had before kinda cute but swag) instead of going down the same YG route

If you're talking about Korea, yes, they're not doing as well as their seniors, but that doesn't change the fact that Treasure is making a big contribution to the agency, especially this year and they have a huge fandom in japan and asian countries .

Today an article clearly said that it was thanks to their fan meeting in Japan that the agency avoided a big drop in sales and that the band absolutely must release an album.

Otherwise, I agree that the agency wants to give babymonster tours and albums.

the problem is not the hip hop concept though I actually think this concept suits them better than forever for example.

I do agree they should try songs that can showcase their voices more. The main problem is the English lyrics in the rap parts that are cringy and that has to go. But then again it seems their production team don't realize it. It has always been an issue with YG
