KPop concerts in Japan 2024 - the increased dependency of KPop in Japan

This is actually one instance where I agree with you tbh, Kpop concert attendance has been pretty impressive these past couple of years, but when you break down the numbers by region it becomes pretty apparent that 75% of these huge figures come from Japan and there is minimal growth in markets elsewhere, and this includes SK and SEA.

South Korean public is still not there yet in terms of supporting their artists in concert venues outside of Festivals and University events.

But they will get there.

I wonder how many of these groups are hitting at least 200k tour attendance in the US.

Stray Kids already did over 200,000 for their tour that ended nearly 2 years ago. Curious to see how will be for the NA leg in 2025.

yeah, it's crazy how maniac was 2 years ago.. how time flies they really haven't toured much recently, i'm pretty sure the dome tour was like year ago. I'm fairly certain there'll be a few stadiums when they announce the US dates for this tour, maybe they'll have something similar to twice and end up with around 300k US attendance

Japan is 2nd biggest music market after all!

Pretty sure if China allowed Kpop there would be even bigger tours
