Idols and Tattoos

Don't think AKP's discussed this for a while.

So Jennie recently got some ink work (maybe)

And saw some posts "elsewhere" having a whinge. Some of the usual complaints from tattoo dislikers, some from a cultural perspective, one from an incel type male sooking that tattoo's somehow devalue a woman. Lovely shit there.

What are you opinions on idols getting tattoos, and tattoos in general?

Which idols have good tattoos and which have... less than nice ones?

I'm inked up myself and gunning for more soon, so it'd be wrong of me to not like tattoos on others. But I actually love seeing tattoos on idols, and I'd love to see more of it. Would love to see more bolder, bigger work as well. I actually really like Jungkooks sleeve work. I would actually love to see a female idol with sleeve work.

And of course... Arem from Rolling Quartz is an Inked Up Queen. Her tattoos add immensely to her vibe and they are hot AF

Yeah that is sad, but I'm wondering with the increasing popularity of tattoo's in Korea on young people (and also in Japan weirdly), and with more idols getting them done, how long the music shows can hold back the tide on that before they just accept that it's a thing now.

I've also seen pictures of Yeojin with tattoos, and then without. Can never tell with her which tattoos are real and which aren't. Maybe I should study a lot closer...

But personally, I'm of the mindset that less is more and none at all is fine. Taeyeon's probably my favorite idol with tats because they're so minimal. But if people get a lot of tattoos, it only looks right to me if it's a full sleeve.

Some of yerin's are really cool too
