What is your favourite jdrama?

A woman called Sumire, 29 years old, is going on a date, or at least she thinks it is. Her boyfriend says it was something serious so she belives he would finally pop THE question and asks her to get married, but at the end he only wanted to meet her to let her know that he was betraying her for a while and would break up, cause his side chick was pregnant. Sumire is very upset about hearing these news and begins to become very sad. She than decides to visit a bar and drink, but due to how upset she is she begins to drink more and more.

At one point she is so drunk, that she keeps staring at her phone, who's background is a photo of a dog she owned when she was a child that was called Momo. She got very upset and told the picture on the phone that her dog Momo was the only one who ever stayed at her side and said she was really missing Momo. Than it clicks, earlier that day she saw a box outside her apartmentbuilding with a puppy inside. She wonders if the dog would be still there, so as drunk as she is, she runs back home in hope to find the dog. But to her surprise once she got back home and finds the box, it was upside down. She wonders if the puppy was under the box and lifts it up, to discover a young man instead. Inside the box sat the 20 year old Takeshi who tried to hide.

When Takeshi noticed how drunk Sumire was and figured she was living in the building behind him, he decided to bring her home and watch over her for the night to make sure she was safe. At the next morning when Sumire wakes up she gets confused. She can't remember anything and so screams when noticing Takeshi. He lets her know what happend and that he was just sitting on a chair next to her bed to watch over her and did nothing suspicious to her. Sumire than gets dressed for work and tells Takeshi to be gone when she comes back home.

However when comming back home, Sumire discovers that Takeshi didn't left. She tells him to go, but he begs her to stay. Sumire dosn't understands why he was begging her to stay, so he tells her that he actually ran away from home and tried to hide at other people's places but needed to hide somewhere, since an angry husband was chasing him, thinking he tried to get his wife to betray him, which he said he did not do and that he only stayed in her house for some days, nothing else. Sumire finds it a bit odd but due to how much Takeshi was begging to stay, she decided to let him stay. But there was one catch. Sumire wanted Takeshi to play her pet-dog called Momo.

A few days have passed and Sumire, was accepting Takeshi living in her apartment, she took care of him, cooked food for him, washed his hair, washed his clothes, told him how to behave etc. And of course Takeshi followed her words and did whatever she wanted. But it began to be very complicated once Sumire went to work and her coworkers told her that a new guy was in the office. At first Sumire wasn't caring much, till she met her new coworker. It was the man she had a crush on when being in university called Hasumi. He was as sweet as she remembered him to be and begun to fall back in love to him.

Oneday both decided to become a couple and date, but Sumire was unsure all the time what Hasumi would think of her, when finding out that she was living with a younger man. Not knowing what to say, she often tripped over her words and than had no good idea how to get out of what she said, so Hasumi started to belive that Sumire was owning a dog and meeting a cousin a lot. Both who arn't even true things. But a coworker of both called Fukushima who also liked Hasumi a lot was figuring that Sumire was living with Takeshi and threatened her to tell Hasumi, if she wouldn't be clear about anything and said she would really hurt their realationship if needed, just to get her hands on Hasumi. Sumire wasn't liking it so she tried to find out how to not get it escalated one day.

The longer Sumire and Hasumi have been dating, the more complicated it gets. Sumire tells Hasumi so much about "Momo" that he really hopes to meet her dog oneday, but she has no idea what to do, so she tells her best friend about the situation and her friend is first shook that she has a stranger living in her apartment, but that she is also hiding and not telling Hasumi, than lents her dog to Sumire to trick Hasumi in beliving that Sumire was owning a real dog. But oneday it gets complicated since Hasumi apeared in front of Sumire's apartment randomly while he sees Takeshi leaving to go to his dance class, since Takeshi is a professionall ballet dancer. Hasumi than asks what Takeshi was doing and so Takeshi lied, saying he would be the cousin of Sumire. When she got to hear both met, she was very shook since she didn't wanted Hasumi to ever find out that Takeshi exists.

It gets worse by time, cause Sumire is more and more unsure day bay day if she really loves Hasumi as she thinks she does or if she started to get affection for Takeshi. On the other hand Takeshi, altho being 9 years younger, starts to feel for Sumire and it begins to get worse, when his own ex. girlfriend is confronting him with how fucked up the running away from home and hiding in strange women's apartments is. Than it gets to an extrem bad point when Takeshi ran into Fukushima who threatened him, she knows that he begun to feel for Sumire and to get what she wants, he should try to get Sumire for himself, so she could try and get Hasumi.

The tricks played by Fukushima get very dirty, since she does anything to ruin anything. Oneday when Hasumi goes to Korea for work, she secretly follows him and tried to play a dirty trick in order to be with him. Fukishima than threatens Hasumi either she would expose that she was meeting Hasumi in Korea or she can stay at his place and play his pet cat and won't tell anything. Hasumi is mad at her but than agrees to not hurt Sumire. And cause of this he needs to make sure nobody knows and fails so bad, that Sumire begins to belive Hasumi adopted a cat in Korea.

Since Takeshi is a ballet dancer he goes to Korea oneday for a competition in ballet dancing and than randomly sees Hasumi with Fukushima in a cafe, he gets suspicious and takes a pic, he is unsure if he should tell Sumire or not, however Sumire finds out about it on her own, when comming to Korea to surprise Hasumi with a visit and than sees him with Fukushima.

At the end Sumire gets to hear that Takeshi will study ballet dancing in Belgium for 3 years and is leaving her, but she says since nobody was on her side like he did for the time they lived together, she was suporting him and said she would watch all his competitions and TV interviews now. Than on the day where he was leaving, she puts TV on to see his first interview and hears that Takashi was saying he will train and become a strong man, to marry a woman he loves when comming back to Japan. Sumire is clear, that it was her, that he ment and turned of the TV. 3 years later Sumire gets a letter from Korea, she isn't even mad at all and says "oh well they fit together..." when getting a card that says that Hasumi and Fukushima would be expecting a child in Korea. An the show ends by Sumire getting married to Takeshi.
