I follow her since debut, and even after 16 years, I'm still surprised how massive she is, especially in Korea! 120K people in line for her Encore concert, and it's just the members of her Fanclub.

I Never doubted it!
If you genuine and passionate with your works, that kind of energy will be transferred into others that make them rooting for you.
I am glad IU never try to follow trend.
Her works long lasting cause she make songs with meaningful lyrics, make people relatable and connected with her art.
I hope she can create more music in the future and has concert until she's old (just like what she wish for).
"This girl is on fire..." 😅
Pretty sure she broke the record for the most attendant solo concert in Korea. Based on some stats, I think only BP sold more, but not in Korea. So, technically it's IU vs BTS, again.😅
Not that I'm surprised, but DAMN! No one can beat Queen IU!😅
does anyone have a list of the most attended concerts in sk? 👀
Another sold out stadium show for IU
I think IU is still more famous as a singer (and pulls more revenue from her singing career) but she also has a top tier acting resume, and there's still a lot for her to grow and achieve as an actress. It's very possible in the future she will start pulling back from music more to focus on acting (which she's already started doing post-2021).
She's both, especially in Korea. Also, she's the only Kpop artist who was nominated at the Cannes Film Festival for her film BROKER, so she's big even outside of Asia. I mean, not only as an actress but as a singer. All of her concert in Europe and the US were sold-out faster than any BP or BTS concert.
But I prefer Sunmi!
Sunmi is my queen!
I love Sunmi too, but I don't have a preference. It's choosing between my Queen and my Princess.😂

I didn't find any info as an ALL-TIME stats, but here are two links from 2024 and 2023.
2024's Biggest K-pop Concerts in Korea: Seventeen Tops the Charts
The 10 Most-Attended Female K-Pop Artist Concerts In South Korea Over The Past Year
As far as I know, BTS could've been more than her, but their concert was canceled in 2020 and the one in 2021 was an online event, I think. PSY could have the biggest numbers, but technically that doesn't count, because it was held outside, not in a stadium. Blackpink and TWICE only performed in KSP Dome so, they're far off too.
In short: basically no one had 110K attendance ever in 2 days in Korea.
Also, the fact that only Bigbang, G-Dragon and now IU are the only Kpop artists who performed at the
Seoul World Cup Stadium makes it hard to keep up with them. Even Bigbang only did 1 day with 65K attendance.

You knocked on the wrong door, my guy. Read the article. IU's Encore has 110K Seventeen's concert was 71K.
100% sold-out rate and another record is set! Queen IU!
BTW, I don't remember, but I don't think I've seen any Kpop artist doing this. I mean, the 100% selling rate! Maybe BTS or BP, but I don't think they did it. Their best was like 98%.

IU is always very conservative with her venues but I hope this recent world tour has given her more confidence on her global touring power. Next time I hope to see her go to Australia, Canada, and Central/South America.
