The people projecting them as surpassing or supplanting NewJeans definitely were out of line based on how only Magnetic became a big hit, a song that I predict will be charting below Hype Boy and Attention by this time next year.

So far, NewJeans is the only girl group that has proven Korean will check out and mass listen to any song on any album they release, even intros and interludes.

But that doesn't mean the next title track for ILLIT can't also be a smash hit. We'll see.

The K-pop community will tune to give their beautiful opinion and hate for their comebacks, regardless.

Belift is great at choosing catchy hook songs, so I expect Magnetic 2.0, but with a unique twist.

They have Summer Moon lore, so Super Real Me is connected to that aspect, expecting it to continue.

In what way? It's a bside hit, still charting top 50 on kcharts, and has 30m streams on Spotify in 3 months already. There are only few girl groups had a hit with a debut bside among 4th and 5th gen been NJ Hurt, LSF Blue Flame, Sour Grapes, BM Like That.

LGS also going to hit 100m on Circle digital points, definitely the bigger debut b-side.

That's a flawed approach. We judge a song based on objective performance metrics.

If a song doesn't at least graze the top 20, unless it's a special circumstance like 20 IU songs clogging the top 30, that's not a hit song

So far, LGS has less impact on the charts than My Bag, and nobody considers My Bag a big hit either, even though it charted very respectably for a B side.

Looking at the daily charts, LGS is hard capped around 40-42. That's about mid level performance chart wise.

Magnetic is 2nd to Cupid, it be hard to replicate that for any group.

At least if they can compete with Le Sserafim, aespa, BM head-to-head upcoming comeback globally, all good.

They be already considered top group by that time.

I already said, it stopped. Illit were not affected to that extent of Le Sserafim, and now NewJeans. What public think in reality with MHJ currently? All the comments made it as everyone was on her side, while the ranking shows the opposite as they are the most affected right now. Question that maybe ?are the real public on MHJ side at all especially after the 2nd conference, the main Korean SNS sites portals that public uses, the comments were not on her side.
