Nayeon having a 8% drop on streams from pop to abcd is not a gotcha clown when we got newjeans dropping 35% on day #1 and 65% on day #22... like newjeans I think did 1.9M filtered and nayeon did 1.5M, being also one of the higher debuts for female acts this year... she is doing fine for a soloist

The charts are so competitive this time around. When Nayeon debuted in June 2022, the top 10 were avg less than 4M-8M streams. Now the top ten is avg 6M-12M streams. The cutoff for global (#200) was 1.2M. She was so close. I hope it picks up tomorrow after a full tracking day.

1PM KST misses the first four hours of tracking time on Spotify. But the trade off is full 24 hour tracking time on Billboard.

TWICE had more hype in the community in 2022. Alcohol Free and The Feels both did well so people were curious to see what Nayeon could do solo. I still think that these results are good especially now that TWICE are seen as has-beens these days, yet Nayeon is still pulling decent sales and streams. Will it beat the hype of POP? I doubt it, but she's showing signs that she will be a successful soloist if JYP can keep up the quality.

It’s not a good song and it’s not produced well. It’s noisy and disjoined.

Kenzie suited her much better. I’m hoping her next comeback will have better producers.

The charts are so competitive this time around, the results are good, the beyonce of kpop, the summer queen.

the problem is just that the song doesn't have a catchy part. I can't even separate the chorus from the whole song.

This isnt a terrible song. I listened to it again and the beat in the chorus is really good. I like the little rap parts and of course the breakdown/outro. It's the main verses and chorus that let it down, as someone said, it's just not memorable.

1.5M filtered on Spotify is the first day result? That doesnt seem bad at all, even some top tier 4th gen groups can barely do better iirc.

The song is a bit of mess and as you say, nothing really catchy.

I actually think these numbers are rather good. She had the most popular SKZ member on her first release. It helps. And judging by the NJ number she must have been very close to debut.

The only disappointment are the korean charts but we are not surprised…

Its only 18 hrs of tracking.

If she charts, it is a pretty good effort for a soloist as no other soloists including IU chart except BP, and yes this song isn't as good as Pop!

Also a gg or solo can climb back so yes it's lower but give her a week or month and we can discuss again of "downfall".

I personally love ABCD BUT I'm not sure it will have the success of POP which was tailored for summer.
