Hybe should do some "payola" cho BoyNextDoor while they're at it

Because of the'Payola' accusations, I have also discovered this group.

They're good.

It's like seeing news with two pics of a male and female idol/actors side by side with the word "CONFIRMED" on it, like it is a dating news, only for it to be a drama casting one.

I think they are really talented and this time around the album is unique ( esp the tt). They are definitely getting more international fans ( yt views+ album sales) but they deserve better,esp digitally.

Overall we know that success stans won't give them time of the day

I didn't mean it like that it makes sense for companies nowadays to invest more in ggs they are more popular with difference audiences etc

I watched their encores for But Sometimes. There is rhythm and melody present.

gg appeal to gp more thats true. but in terms of profit bgs earned more longer in general. there are few exceptions like bp . for example in hybe txt and enhypen are earning so much profits bec they hv bigger fbs. if the bg have bigger fd ul see them survive longer than ggs in gen cuz majority of income are coming from tours , album sales , merchs and endorsements. bgs get endorsements bec a big fd can create a bigger buzz for the brand. in 2023 ENHYPEN as a grp has the biggest EMV (luxury brand endorsements)next to BP and BTS and skz individual members probably hv the highest emv earned among 4th-5th gen in 2024.

The GP is useless without a fandom, particularly for Kpop.

Companies want money and gp people streaming their artist four times a week along with 70 odd other artists is not bringing in the money. Also, even many GGs don't even have the GP. That is just a small portion of them.

I remember seeing a comparison of how many streams are needed to earn as much as one album. Don't remember the exact amount, but it was a huge number. Even the best selling GGs are well behind quite a few BGs in album sales.

Just a very select few even the playing field with touring etc.

Earth wind and fire is a bop, I hope they rise with promotions,rn they're just outside the top 100 on Melon daily
