I miss when fandoms wanted wins for their idols’ success…why are BABYMONSTER fans turning into blinks 2.0?

I think this went back even further.
Quite a few of the "Blinks" who were most toxic in the beginning were not Blinks at all but fans of a certain YG boyband that have always resented the success BTS had.
That has definitely played a factor in the start of the ARMY vs Blink fanwars. Usually, it's not GG fans vs BG fans that have big fanwars, but somehow this became a big fanwar.
Of course after that, it became a circle of action and reaction on both sides, but the first sparks of animosity have a lot to do with that.
Now with this new gen arguing, I know lots of ARMY don't bother with any other group (including HYBE groups) and are often very suspicious towards HYBE. However, I see them getting drawn in now, as often people insulting HYBE groups, do so at least partly to get at BTS and often include them in the insults.
To be honest, I am getting a little petty now as well. The more hate I see towards these groups, the more I want to support them. I don't go around insulting other idols left and right though.
I think supporting is a better way of 'fighting' dumb fanwars than acting like a base animal.

no it wasn't like that you are seeing this from one side....hybe stans including illit fans were making fun of baemon's charts unprovoked. on twitter baemon fans were bragging about most dumb things like 5th it girl or being talented etc and things like that,
you might find it annoying but it's not a reason to find some of these people under baemon's accounts posts shading them. Now baemon fans are acting like this but both sides were messy
it's just that baemon's fans are more vocal.

Nope.
If you just look at this forum alone, you can see that the ones fighting most on the HYBE GG side are not even ARMY. Some on the anti-HYBE GG side do try to drag in ARMY/BTS by throwing passive-aggressive comments around, but those don't seem to be necessarily Blinks either.
Can't speak for the more toxic Baemon stans being Blinks. leave that up to you to judge.

That tweet also doesnt represent the majority of baemon fans because as i remember, they dragged ILLIT girlies before too especially focusing R U NEXT era where they keep calling them flops months before Magnetic even drops.. This is the time when Batter Up is getting alot of exposure (ahyeon issue) and youtube views..

For that, they have to win, so both fandom should talk when it's actually happening. 😅 Honestly, it's not that easy for Babymonster to win, because this month is packed with pretty strong contenders. I don't know why are they so upset and crazy about this. People already know they can sing, and 10 times better than ILLIT. They should just chill and enjoy the same YG music.

Most BM fans are Blinks too, and a lot of ILLIT fans are NewJeans and probably BTS fans too. BIG4 stans are loud and crazy. Sure, not all of them are like that, but the fact that they're the loudest, makes them worse.
I would love if BM become a nugu group, because they would have more freedom and less toxic people in their fandom, but that won't happen, probably.
Let's be real, most of their "fans" are only following these groups because they want to be part of a big fandom to brag about their success like it's theirs. They don't care about the Idols.
Believe me, most care about the music (first) , then of course will root for their fave groups' success.
Now, about BM. I have nothing against them. They're talented in every aspect and we all know their encores are the best in the industry.

I was talking about the toxic and loud minority. Doesn't matter which fandom are we talking about (not just in Kpop) the loudest idiots are the minority, because normal fans are hardly using social media, or they're just promoting their faves quietly.
I wouldn't say BM's encores are the best in the industry. They didn't have any encore performance yet (or did I miss something?🤔) and they're only a couple of months old group. I don't think we should compare Encore stages because it's just for fun and no one take it that seriously.

Maybe, but if they won't be in the TOP10 on Melon, I'm not sure about their win. Most points are coming from digital charts. If their fans don't vote, they won't win, because ILLIT won't leave the #1 spot soon, and there are other groups like G-Idle, ONF, TWS, TXT, KIOF or the new songs that will come out soon: NCT, Zerobaseone, Zico with Jennie, Seventeen, IVE or even Solar and Yuqi from G-Idle. The next 2 week will be massive.
