For a moment I thought her By Jeans cover would be an Eternal Sunshine song, she was complimenting the album so much weeks ago.

Underrated voice. She is underrated in general, her visuals objectively are at the very top of Kpop along with Karina/Wonyoung/Jennie/Irene, her vocals among the 1.5 tier of 4th gen, and she has a 4D personality on camera. Along with It Girl Minji, Dany IS New Jeans.

It was fine but as a lover and specialist ( ) of sad songs and melancholic voices, this cover was a bit ... not hitting the right places.

Dani has a beautiful tone but her voice isn't a very emotional one. Hanni is much better at conveing sad feelings through her voice.

So i think its just not the best choice of song to showcase the full potential of her voice. She would have suited a song like best part, paris in rain, water or even any ariana eternal sunshine typa songs much better.

I would have loved to hear Hanni cover this amazing song tho...

I think by some miracle, any NJ member is quintessencial to the group, but Dani is definitly NJ golden treasure. she is a top visual with a gorgeous voice and a vibrant alluring personality .

I agree, she has a nice tone but her voice lacks texture where this song really needs it. Tough order considering most idols can barely sing these days, won’t see sakura or kazuha doing a cover anytime soon 😂
