I still find the global Ugg thing so... weird.

In Ugg's home country, Australia, they were always kind of a bogan thing (bogan = trashy). But then over here we also use ugg to talk about a style of footwear, not the brand.

it's like Carhartt w the US vs global. A few years ago Carhartt started popping off as like chic streetwear outside the US even though in the US they are a humble blue-collar workwear brand. International marketing teams get a clean-ish slate when a brand expands to a new country

Its come back full circle so now Carhartt is streetwear even in the US itself

She's so beautiful and cute. I think she fits the brand well

I find most of uggs clients are Asians anywa ( at least in-store that's what I see). Particularly Chinese.

Australian media is OBSESSED with her because she's an Aussie actress that got to Hollywood or some shit. Like almost weekly news articles about her for some reason.
