YG and JYP are too big, too conservative and too legacy driven to succeed in the current market

    They are struggling to adapt because they can't change their ways. SM would've probably struggled too if LSM remained CEO, but they restructured with younger executives and within a year we get Riize.


    Everything YG and JYP do is outdated, because they have a company culture that is hard to overwrite. You can't reeducate all these creative and employees and have them start doing something modern without coming off as a knock off.


    Hybe doesn't struggle with it because Hybe is basically an umbrella company that consists of smaller companies. Hybe didn't create NJ Ador did, Hybe didn't create LSFM Source did and so on. Small companies don't have a particular culture or legacy, it is easier for them to adapt.

    YG is now struggling in music charts because of this. They are now in compliance with Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Management System. JYP just acquired this certifications too, that is why if you noticed, their digital and physical sales are also declining.


    Both companies are doing honest marketing so I prefer that than doing payolas which is now very common nowadays especially to newer groups *cough* TWS *cough* riize *cough*

    It would be nice if Stray Kids could do a soundtrack for Marvel movies or something or even better be in it. I'm sure Western audiences would like to see something new and diverse for a change. Some members should be villains too. We need change and we need it now!! 🙂

    The problem with yg is that they are still under hyunsuk’s power. When hyunsuk was busy with his court cases, treasure had more content. Right now, treasure is locked in japan doing concerts just like what he did to ikon. Even babymonster now has 0 content except for their 2-3 live stages.

    There are 6 Divisions that are involved in JYPE's Schedule, they are Division 2, Division 3, SQU4D, JYPE America, JYPE Japan, JYPE China. This system not only allow Divisions to manage Artists under them but the ability to share information which can provide fresh insights with new experiences.


    While JYPE have recruited hundreds of young and fresh Management to staff and manage their current 7 Divisions, SME are still filtering their Artists through a tired and outdated centralised system.


    SME will simply not be able to handle such a short schedule that involves 4 Countries and all but a handful of their Artists.


    JYPE simply has the most superior management system for creation of Artists and speedy Content, they also gear toward Fan Engagement.

    Jyp is doomed I feel like the only one saving them is the fan base that’s it look at the current charting of twice damm they just don’t have a good songs anymore everything is outdated whoever American composers doing twice I hope they stop
