Do you listen to Western music as much as you do Kpop/J-Pop etc. or is it equal?

I listen to more western music than Kpop tbh

I'm pretty embarrassed to mention I like KP let alone know what it is, so I try to keep up with a lot of Western Artist, but lately I couldn't help but find myself listening to a lot of artists I did as a kid, like 5SOS and the Vamps for example. I love the artists Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson.

I don't really listen to just one genre though, hard to say but a bit of both 🤷‍♀️

I listen to KPOP more.

I mostly listen to JPop and KPop since most western stuff is boring to me or not what I preffer. Also some genre and their artists ruined it a lot for me over the last years. I realised especially since the middle of the 2010s it decreesed to be very low. I listen to Asian music since 2010 and noticed how different the style of music is within Europe/America and Asia sometimes, altho they have similarities, so I was not more that much drawn to listening to western music, especially not when I saw how mostly weird rap was on top of the charts and yeah.

But there are still a few songs that I like. From what I listened in the past few years or even some old songs I liked before getting into JPop and KPop I safed them on my Spotify when I made an account in 2020 so in case if I want to listen to them again I can just go into my western songs playlist (I have made 4, 1 for western music, 1 for JPop, 1 for KPop and 1 for CPop) and yeah

I'm going to leave some songs as example that I put into my playlist so you know from the lil bit of western music that I still listen to what I like the most as of now

Even split for me. I'm too much of a nerd to align myself with just one style.

It ebbs and flows. Pretty much a la carte..little bit of this, little bit of that. Always open to what feels good musically and where I am intuitively led.

I listen to a lot of music that is not Kpop, but very few of it is American.

The American music industry loves to push their music everywhere, but is very gatekeepy towards foreign music coming in, which is why don't support it

a little more into K-pop, but some modern Western music is luring me away.
