It's super odd when the ovas are superior to the anime, but then again only 1/3 of it is worth watching because everything goes downhill after Shishio's ark.
I prefer the serious tone of the ovas honestly.
I've watched all the live actions, but live action ain't for me, hence my lack of excitement about the upcoming ones.

maybe Pokemon since I watched till season 12 but I still love Sailor Moon too, even tho the original anime was finishied after 2 or 3 seasons in the 90s
If we just go for the liking-part than Sailor Moon and Pokemon go for me cause I loved Sailor Moon as the anime and Pokemon is a thing you can still like, even if you don't watch the show anymore and both for example still have a big "franchise" going on with all this merch tho
Oh btw I have the full manga of Sailor Moon + the Specials who came out to it (It's not directly first-print, but its the first-print version of the modernised one aka. the original manga for example is using in one scene oldschool computer-stuff like this "flop discs" while in the new one they switched it out by a CD/DVD)

The longest I'm being fan of would be Dragon Ball since my early teens.
I guess the longest actively following would be Berserk manga. At the author's pace, some longtime fans may die off before the end of the manga.

I can't follow anime that has hundreds of episodes. I can only watch Detective Conan until its 400th episode. Not watched all the episodes between that

Sailor Moon - I still remember coming across the old DIC dub on TV at like 5AM. I was in the 4th grade and it was the episode where Serena/Usagi finds out she's Princess Serenity and Tuxedo Mask is Darren/Mamoru. I fell in love with it instantly.
When I was in my early 20s, I rewatched the whole show in Japanese including Stars and fell in love again. Then I finally read the manga. Crystal isn't perfect, but I love Sailor Moon is still around.
