I don't like AI but is exploiting machines really any worse than what the industry is doing now with how they commodify and exploit humans.

I hate A.I so much, and I especially hate it when it's in Kpop.

The AI is for putting office workers including people in call centers out of a job, its not really to generate AI idols.

I'm not 100% sure who said it, I wanna say it was Jungkook but someone in a livestream talked about singers and how they felt uneasy it made them feel. While also pointing out how it would be cool to see someone cover their favourite song (I think Dean's song was mentioned) but suggested to them to mention in a video or fan call and have it possibly uploaded as a live clip cover rather then AI.

I think someone from Pentagon or NCT mentioned AI Covers recently to.. (I believe).

Yet at the same time I agree with the previous statements made, my bias's (espc NCT!) are just so over work the industry needs to come to light with these health issues and put forward some kind of change and fix these fast pace environments of having to put out an album or even two every month, plus remembering and doing hard choreographs? That's insane. I work out (weights, biceps) and treadmill and its often hard for me to keep up with 1 dance, I couldn't imagine a full set list!

I hope better things come out of this, even if its just small improvements.

I don't think that's going to happen like sure you can get perfect visuals perfect skills and all you want but what is the biggest thing about kpop idols and fans? the delusion of our idols love us, have you seen how obsessive kpop fans are? they have this whole parasocial relationship with their idols i don't see how they would get as invested with AI

You clearly forgot that AI had actual human beings behind them, who were being exploited.

The most money come from touring. An AI wouldn't be able to do tours.

People will do everything for "free" with AI

I don't think it'll dominate though, it'll be a niche like doujin music or vocaloid

Or maybe I'm too optimistic

AI idols can't tour so I don't think companies will be giving up on their real groups anytime soon
