Isn't time going a little too fast? Those newly debuted groups from 2022 will soon not be rookies anymore, and gidle is already in their 6th year

  • Ive already in celebrate their 2nd year. Others like Lsf, Nmixx, and Newjeans are going to celebrate their 2nd-year anniversary soon next year. Aespa will be in their 4th year, like freaking 4 year already when I feel like they just freshly debuted too because of their long hiatus and lack of activities before. Itzy will celebrate their 5th anniversary in February, will they finally have their own Instagram account? Gidle will soon enter their 6th year in their careers, and will negotiate their contract renewal. Will the girls renewing their contract with cube? Kep1er is going to disband next year, probably in June. We will have tons of new gg from small and medium companies soon. And Newjeans members will soon have 2 members who are 20 years old, with only 1 minor left.

I'm witnessing all of their debuts lol so I feel old when I'm not old at all.

  • Time is passing too quickly. I still feel like I'm in Aespa's debut days, watching every performance, learning the members' names, and biasing Winter because I loved her blonde hair in the teasers.

  • if we go by 2018 as the date for the start of the 4th then I would assume that with a standard 7 year contract - 2025 is their renewal year

so I would also assume that the 5th generation would start next year???

  • Itzy being almost 5 years old now

Like I was there for their debut yo ;(

4th gen still do feel like rookies STILL

In fact, I still find it unreal that 3rd gen groups, especially Blackpink, who are among the youngest in that generation, are already in their 7th year and renewing their 2nd contract. I was there when they debuted, so it gives me this really weird nostalgic feeling out of nowhere.

  • Time flies when you're invested. When there's comeback after comeback and debut after debut, there's always something happening.

I've seen threads with people complaining how K-pop is boring at certain times, but I just don't see how. We're into something that prides itself on nearly sensory overload and overstimulation.

  • Its weird bc only ggs had wide individual recognition while bgs u only got to know them fr if youre part of the fandom. Very different from 3rd gen where plenty 3rd gen bgs were acknowledged. So it feels like something is missing.

4th gen are all non-rookies now and still i only know treasure members, 3/7 skz members and 2/5 txt members and a couple of ateez members out of all 4th gen bgs. Its really weird
