Liar Game

Who isn't quite as honest as they seem?

What it is

The Liar Game is similar to Mafia, but instead of trying to kill off the Truth Tellers, the Liar must instead try to guess what they're all talking about before the Truth Tellers can sus them out.

How to play - Truth Teller

• I (the Host) will DM you your role: Truth Teller
• I will also DM you a discussion topic.
• Each round, you must make ONE POST about the topic in the game thread. Clearly mark it so the Host and Players can easily tell it apart from other posts.
• Be careful! If you're too specific, the Liar will guess the topic and you'll lose― but if you're too vague, the other Truth Tellers might suspect YOU as the Liar!
• After each round, all Players will vote for who you think the Liar is. If you're wrong, the game continues to another round. If you're right, the Truth Tellers win! You will receive one Victory Point for winning.

How to play - Liar

• I (the Host) will DM you your role: Liar
• You will do everything that the Truth Tellers do (so read their section too!)
• After each round, you must DM me your guess for what the discussion topic is. If you're wrong, the game continues to another round. If you're right, you win! You will receive one Victory Point for winning.

How to... lose!?

• If the Truth Tellers and Liar all guess wrong too many times, nobody wins and we start another game. Choose wisely!
• If you disappear for more than 5-10 minutes during a game then you'll forfeit your spot and you won't receive any Victory Points even if your team wins. Don't worry, if you come back you can always join the next game!

What are Victory Points?

You get a Victory Point each time your team wins the Liar Game. Your Victory Points will be tallied at the end of the week, and whoever has the most will win a free static badge!

When to play

December 6th at 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM EST

December 9th at 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM EST
