Would you like twice to extend their contracts?

I can't even think about twice disbanding without tearing up lol. I don't want to think about it but to be very honest I do not think JYP can manage twice girl's individual promotions very well so I don't think it would be a good idea for all of them to extend their contracts especially if some of them want to branch out into acting or modelling.
Also JYP doesn't let the foreign line promote freely in Korea even though foreign line in Twice are extremely popular. Jackson from GOT7 mentioned that he was not allowed to promote his solo work in Korea. Pretty sure it is similar for Twice since the J-line so far only had solo collabs with Japanese artists.

Changed the title of the thread from “Would you like twice to extend their contacts?” to “Would you like twice to extend their contracts?”. -

Yes, as much as I don't think they don't have great promotions, I don't see it as a feasible option for them to leave.
However, I do believe that Twice can have some bargaining advantage when re-signing, and hopefully part of the contract is better solo activities and opportunities. cuz let's be honest, jype has the weakest industry contacts out of all the big3 which means they are less likely to get those lucrative deals just off of jype like many other groups do.

Yes but I hope they can get some really good negotiations going

is there any big groups that all members are re-sign their contracts? i feel like this is major disadvantage in big groups like twice because every member may be doesn't feel the same as other some are prefer their familes some want go to different field i don't how twice members handle this but they together with 7 yrs if am not wrong in music field so they may be defiently want to try different things its like same snsd that all members in not continue as idols anymore

Whatever they like, I support them

Twice just have to beat the odds, it will be special though if they all end up extending their contracts

i voted no purely because i think its time for them to explore their own identities outside of twice
i think (contrary to what jihyo said) some members do want individual activities and that freedom to explore will not be available as long as they're in jype
that doesn't mean twice is over just twice will be different from what we're used to

Yes. Before Izone's disbandment, i mightve said it's ok for Twice to disband, if this means members are free to do other things they might want to do or even retire from show biz (i think Jeongyeon will retire next year).
However, Izone's disbandment actually hit me in the gut, and i've only started following them recently. Watching the girls crying throughout their concerts, and then realizing that all of the fun bts content will be gone for good, the impact of the "D" word really hit me. If i was feeling shook over a group i was just a casual fan of, what's gonna happen to me when Twice disbands?
