Holding the majority of the votes in the 'Song of the Year' category, "Hype Boy" has amassed over 400 million streams on Spotify and received a Platinum certification from the RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan).
NewJean's "Hype Boy" received 74 votes out of the 200 respondents, securing over a third of the votes. "Hype Boy" was not the only NewJeans track to make the list. "Ditto," "Super Shy," and "ETA" also ranked in the TOP 10, with "Ditto" securing second place with 26 votes, "Super Shy" in 5th place with 8 votes, and "ETA" ranked 9th place with 6 votes, respectively.
Meanwhile, BTS's Jungkook's solo hit track, "Seven," ranked third in the 'Song of the Year' category with 17 votes. FIFTY FIFTY's unexpected breakout hit "Cupid" came in next with 7 votes, then NewJeans' "ETA" came in 9th place, followed by Seventeen BSS's "Fighting" in 10th place.
