whtats your opinion on rolling out a song prior to comeback on tiktok?

I hate it.

I follow an artist on TikTok, and she's getting ready to drop a song like next week.

But, she's already started been promoting the song for a couple of weeks trying to get a TikTok challenge going, which means she's posting several videos daily/weekly. And, tbh, I'm already tired of it.

At this point, I just want to hear the full song.

I see this with JPop all the time and it sucks a bit

- You scroll trought someone's account

- All of a suddon a song you never heard popes up and it may not even be mentioned in the describtion

- A few days later you find out it will be the new single of the artist

- 900 people did TikTok challenges to the song before the official audio, dance or MV are even out and nobody even heard the full version

i'm not on tiktok anymore so idc now but it was kinda annoying when i was

i would hear the same song snippet 47573826373 times in a row and before the song even dropped i was over the song completely and didn't even want to hear it anymore

Riize and aespa this this weeks before their debut song was out. Perhaps new trend in SM? Do other companies do this too?

As tiktok enthusiast I have nothing against this.
