i think so no....
because people just do not want to cooperate with each other .all them they think about is themselves
the cases never dropped at all in malaysia and the death rate increased

I think corona won't be completely gone, even with vaccine. It will continue for the rest of our lives.
Turns out Corona's childhood friend is the one for her all along
Keeping hope alive. Eventually, yes.
I hope it eventually ends. But if it doesn't, let's hope for the best.
when everyone has fully gotten vaccined, to be honest i hope everyone get vaccinated before summer because im so tired of always having to sit home because of stupid mfs who keep being ignorant and spreading the virus when they know they have been out and fucking around ..theres been like 3 waves of this bs
people should have taken the lessons from the swine influenza tbh and listen to national restrictions but theres a lot of ignorant bastards out there, im looking at u america
"we" didn't fail to react. it's the individuals within & upholding power structures that prioritize $$$ over humanity (especially when it comes to those they've always deemed dispensable). they had and continue to have the finances and the resources to wrap this up. we, as a majority, don't. pointing fingers amongst ourselves or viewing it as a collective failing just lets them off the hook.
but, you're right, a lesson all the same!

Of course the individuals at the top bear more responsibility as they have the resources and power to decide how to conduct under these circumstances. We refers as a global civilization that failed to have a more coordinated response, but not the sense of pointing fingers on the people per se as populations are at mercy of the leadership quality they may or may not have chosen and information through our compromised means of communication. More of a hyperbole of failing as a globalized system. I guess the way I phrase it was a little to vague.
My focus was more on the accelerating future pandemics that specialists are always warning us about, but not enough in done even with lessons from the past like SARS, H1N1, and MERS (and even the old plagues from history). I just hope this is the lesson that wake us (meaning the people in power) up to prepare adequately.
it really needs to end soon
I don't expect it to go away completely but at least keep it under control and we get out of pandemic.
I hope the vaccine works well and is effective.
I hope there will be medication we can take that will cure the infected in less than 7 days in the future
we've reached 2 million deaths... far beyond a happy ending at this point. It will get better though
there will be and ending. everything ends at some point, but it won't be happy.
so what's sweet here

some ppl still feel good since still have money plus ppl nearby them didnt die

i heard more ppl walking around = more chance for corona to mutates? if it is true ,then it is extremely hard to find good vaccine

the n i cant go school anymore
I just want this to to end and I want my life back. This already robbed me of my grad, various job opportunities and exacerbated health problems I have. I hope all the dumb anti-maskers are happy knowing that they ruined the lives of SO many people.
same.i am already beyond broke before pandemic
It's really starting to annoy me how people treat the pandemic where I live..
teens having full parties, posting about how they don't care about the pandemic and everything
Meanwhile, there's people like me, afraid to go to their part-time job, because of the risk I'm taking when I'm going there, but I have to, 'cause it's a job that I can't do from home..
I always have to think of the people that have actually have lost someone and they have to see how the other people treat it so lightly..
Yesterday I read a story about a little girl who's 2 years old and probably only has a few months left to live due to her sickness and her last wish was to go to disneyland.. well guess what's not happening because disneyland has to be closed for a lot longer? And I know it would probably have been closed anyways, since the other version of corona is now spreading too, but still, reading that story and knowing how other people are totally ruining a little girls final wish, broke my heart..
So no, I don't think there will be a happy ending.

sad - i am not even sure whether i could go shopping
I'm pretty sure the virus is going to stay with us from now on. We'll probably going to get better enough not to be in a pandemic anymore, as we'll get access to vaccines and develop herd immunity. The best outcome in my opinion is covid being a seasonal epidemic, just like the flu, but this is only a speculation, since the virus spreads faster and easier in cold weather. By March, cases are expected to drop and since more and more people are getting vaccinated worldwide, we might see a bit of normalcy this summer.
That being said, go get vaccinated if you can! And keep wearing a mask & wash your hands as often as you can. The vaccine protects you from getting ill, but you might still get infected and pass it on to others.
these ppl do not realise that they are just making the pain longer lmao
i bought some make up stuff last year yet i only wore it like once

exactly! and that annoys me a lot, because I'd like to hang out with my friends as well, celebrate my birthday and what not. And who knows if everyone actually followed the rules for once, we wouldn't be in this situation. Besides that, I'd feel really guilty if I get corona and it spreads to my mom or my dad, or my grandma or anyone that I come in contact with.
Lmaooo relatable, I bought new clothes and still haven't worn them because I have nowhere to go
the n i cant go school anymore
So sad that everything would have to go online
there will be an ending only with the vaccine, and I hope it's SOON

"I know,It’s all wrong. By rights we shouldn’t even be here. But we are. It’s like in the great stories Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy. How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad happened. But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand.I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn’t. Because they were holding on to something. That there’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it’s worth fighting for"
For some people, too many lives have been lost and destroyed because of it. I do think we'll come above it and see the silver lining or the light at the end of the tunnel like we always do.
