They aren’t by any means the best vocalists of their generation.
BUT I find their songs incredibly pleasant to listen too.
They all have individually lovely vocal tones that are suited to their genre and most importantly sounds cohesive and beautiful together!
When I hear their songs I never hear anything abrupt or ridiculously high pitched. They are very easy to listen to and stream comfortably.
Even though I like groups like IVE, Le Sserafim, Aespa, Nmixx etc… when I listen to their songs, it does tend to feel a bit abrupt and disjointed because of the combination of the member’s voices and the fact they are told to pretty strain their voices in their songs.
The comfortability of NewJeans and their company making them sing in their range is also one of the reasons why I love their songs so much.
That’s just my opinion though
