I think album of the year will be seventeen

Artist its a toss up can be New Jean or IVE. I personally think it should be new jeans.

For MAMA

ALOTY between Seventeen/NewJeans/Stray Kids and AOTY between Seventeen/Stray Kids is too close, anything can happen.

SOTY is a easy win for NewJeans, but I wonder If they will attend. This might change things...

It seems NewJeans Ditto for SOTY is practically a lock at this point.

Jisoo has the best female solo at MAMA in the bag, even with the judges score given totally to other soloists, she leads the odds with 60%

Since they had removed all foreign song cathegories except 1 for western and 1 for Asian artists last year, I fear that as like the previous 3 years Mnet just fucks it again and awards their own Japanese groups again. Since INI is now more popular in Japan than JO1 but JO1 won the most awards on MAMA before I think Mnet might gives the award to INI this year for most popular Asian artist

Thats all I could think of, cause no way Mnet would give the award to another famous Asian artist, altho I could totally think if its not any artist of Mnet, they could award Imase or YOASOBI, but I doubt that cause Mnet preffers their own artists over anyone else

I see different disadvantages for Seventeen, NewJeans and Stray Kids on MAMA:

Seventeen will most likely attend just the first day If they attend any. They have a concert on the next day after MAMA's second day. Last year they didn't attend due the same circustances. I think they might win or AOTY or ALOTY, but not both. Cause the judges might give a bit of priority for who is there since It's a close race.

Stray Kids isn't #1 in any Daesang Category, so they will depend on judges' votes more than NewJeans and Seventeen.

NewJeans attending, for me, It's unsure. Especially after what happened last MAMA. And this might decrease their chances.

IVE is the wildcard here

NewJeans' chance at winning AROTY at MMA might rise after Get Up releases because they still have a few months of tracking left.

Isn't MAMA period until late october? that would mean 4 months to cut the gap in terms of global streams which seems hard for kpop solo acts
