Funny, but it's not even Once that are mad about it. They are writing nice tweets to the journalist.

Any mention of 'paving the way' usually gets the ire of one or more other groups fandoms that think their fave paved the way.

She said Twice have helped shape the landscape in Kpop and pave the way for the next generation of female artists.

She didn't say "Twice paved the way for all Kpop groups" (or all Kpop girl groups).

She also said "helped", not "did it alone" or "are the number 1 group to".

As much as I hate 'pave the way discussions' in general as they are annoying af: she did not say anything that diminishes anything other Kpop girl groups have done.

I don't understand the problem here.

oh no I didn't say that ( I don't anyone deserves hate) but it's obvious the content of the article is controversial considering that blackpink had a bigger impact

she likes blackpink but it's not one of her favorite groups twice is basically her ultimate so her article is gonna have some bias
