  • It's normal most people didn't react since this clown's actions are predictable and happen too frequently. Besides we have already ensured that if we die a full nuclear retaliatory strike would turn north Korea into ashes. Within the first minutes of an attack a retaliatory strike would be launched. Afterwards the military would deploy all active duty personnel across the dmz and towards all designated military command and control points in the North. All remaining men in the country are automatically activated and will be tasked mostly as reserves and taking care primarily of defense of the country others will be sent to replace losses on front lines. Like I said before we refuse to end up like Ukraine. We will utterly destroy the north without mercy.

...you don't have nukes. :whatr: And even if you did, turning North Korea "into ashes" would also affect South Korea, China and even Japan. You also don't deploy military personnel into a place you've just nuked, unless you want them to die too.

    I'm just sayin'.

Obviously not every location would be hit by the strike and the soldiers would be deployed to those areas not hit. Everyone is aware a nuke would likely have fallout affect you. But it would be used because unfortunately it's the principle of it. You see nuclear deterrence only works if you use the same force against your enemy. This is supposed to prevent repeats as well inform other potential enemies that they would meet the same fate should they try. Its the primary reason there's been no world war and no nuclear conflict since ww2 and the primary reason despite all of Russia's nuclear bluffing they never used one in Ukraine because they know the NATO response would be a nuclear strike

  • ...you don't have nukes.

Just like Japan, SK doesn't officially have nukes - but their highly educated physicists and engineers could change that very quickly if needed. I'll bet the necessary materials are ready and waiting in an undergound vault somewhere.

They would be doing so in violation of international nuclear non-proliferation treaties. And it's already too late to be doing that by the time you're under attack anyway. The only countries that "unofficially" have nukes are... borrowing ours. But they still need our permission to use them.

It's been known for a long time this has happened. Ever since the invasion of Ukraine everyone has learned that paper means nothing the treaties that are signed is meaningless if not upheld case in point for Ukraine to turn over it's nuclear weapons back in the 80s They were supposed to be legally bound by Russia to protect them aka the Budapest accord. You just witnessed how that was not honored. And knowing hindsight is 20/20 that id Ukraine still possessed even a fraction of it's nuclear weapons Russia would never have attacked it. As Korea and Japan both of our nation's government's have released statements recently saying that they had a counterstrike measure ready to stop north Korea. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand what that means. A counterstrike measure to a nuke is obviously another nuke

How do you plan to launch a nuke attack on NK when South has no nukes? Is your US umbrella going to act that fast given the complications involved diplomatically and politically? And what will you do if North which clearly does not have any no first use policy, uses its nuclear arsenal first?

  • Just like Japan, SK doesn't officially have nukes - but their highly educated physicists and engineers could change that very quickly if needed. I'll bet the necessary materials are ready and waiting in an undergound vault somewhere.

You cannot conjure nuclear weapons in minutes like a magician. It would take them years to build an arsenal.

You did not reply how South Korea intends to nuke NK when South has no nukes? Absurd for a self proclaimed Korean man to not know this when even non Koreans like me have this general knowledge...hmm
