Which generation is your favorite in kpop?

I'm a 2nd gen fan all the way. I think I could like 1st gen if I tried it, 3rd gen is alright, but I don't really like 4th gen. Imo, 2nd gen was the peak, but even 4th gen has its hits. I would say that my opinion is influenced by nostalgia because my intro to K-Pop was during 2nd gen.

Musically, since each gens give me songs that I like, I think it's kinda draw there.

Content-wise, idk, since I don't even know what are 2nd gen contents are, besides running man maybe. For me, the difference for content between 3rd and 4th gen is just the camera quality.

But I'll giving the 4th gen more points because it's the current era where I'm active in stanning

Definitely second gen, it was the era I got into K pop and better groups and music imo.

Either 3rd or 4th

I like a lot of music from both

It's no doubt 2nd gen. More diversity in music and KPop not always about Boy group and Girl group.

3rd like Pokémon

overall it close between
2nd Gen or 4th Gen

overall music wise and from the nugu to big 3

I like the 2nd Gen more

even the BGs songs is better

and their personalities
Like Big Bang and SJ is more relatable

soloist of the 2nd gen beat 4th Gen

in a unanimous decision

the variety show also I think is much better
Lets Go Dream Team and Star Golden Bell are among my top favorite

but
with IZ ONE and IVE and still w Somi in 4th Gen
for individual bias and visual can't ignore the 4th Gen

due to recency bias
I give the 4th gen win this in split decision

I know next to nothing from 1st

2nd gen has some good groups, both male and female, but they were much more short lived

3rd gen has by far the best boygroups and some good girlgroups

4th has good girlgroups and is underwhelming on BGs side

Overall 3rd gen is the best

I dislike 2nd gen

I liked only EXO in 3rd gen and a couple of GGs

In 4th gen I like a lot more variety of groups.

So I guess 3rd and 4th gen are good.

2nd gen was my favorite. I love dance, but vocals are the most important to make a good performance/song, and 2nd gen had better vocalists. Concepts were more diverse too, and the variety shows were funnier.

Barely know anything about 1st gen, but from what I remember my least fave. Their style of singing isn't my taste, even tho some songs are good.
