SM x Aespa is a really distressing situation

What do you expect really? aespa is never on SM priority list and it won't change unless SM get rid of the old management.

Do you think it's because Giselle in the group ? (I am not a hater, she is my bias in aespa)

Until now, there is still this rumor about her aunt is LSM girlfriend. Maybe that's why this new management try to not prioritize aespa. There is also a rumor that SM will debut new GG this year.

Even when LSM is still there aespa management is messy. Like who's on the right mind gave aespa yearly comeback with only 4 mushow appearances in span of 2 weeks and limited contents.

Yeah SMNGG will gets better treatment since it's Chris Lee project. It's written in the star

SM plan : make 483829 MDs to sell and after cb send aespa on longer tours.

aespa monthly listeners in spotify rise from 4+ million to 7+ million after they released Hold On Tight.

Still no promotion other than short video on Youtube (i didn't check other media).

SM really waste aespa talents.

YES! Each group is handled by different people, seeing different girl groups thriving atm and getting timely comebacks, SMNGG will probably get the push. Surely Chris Lee would want to prove to people and himself that he can also create a successful group. I'd actually be very surprised if SMNGG doesn't get the push.

Isnt Kakao in charge now? I can see Kakao, not Chris Lee, being the ones trying to keep Aespa down. They might not want anyone or anything to threaten their #1 gravy train right now....Ive.

They might want Aespa to to sell as many albums and merch to fans as possible, but do it as cheaply as possible, and dont overpromote the girls or allow them to be as digitally relevant as Ive.

aespa chances to getting independent team is slim to none.

Like SM couldn't bother to hire a staff that could speak english/ translator for aespa even giselle needs to help the staffs to communicate in US airport. Simple as this one but SM doesn't care

Let's see how they are promoted this upcoming comeback. Off-topic but the girl in your dp is seriously wasted. She has such a strong fanbase, SM should allow her more individual promotions.
