It’s not surprising to me. However I wouldn’t be able to tell. Jihyo is a real pro. I’d be embarrassed if I had to do shy shy shy or cheer up too

What? is clear you dont know them. They still act cheerful ofc (They are in their 20s, not 40s) but they dont act like before, thats for sure

this is another reason why I became a multi stan back on 2nd gen

it not required to like every song of your bias artist

and

not needed to be loyal in one artist

she has the right to express what she likes. At the time twice were rookies and didn't have much say on what they should perform, she can be grateful for their success doesn't mean she necessarily has to like the concept or sound of that time.

That's usually what happens with young female rookies who have no control over their image/concept/songs at debut being free to finally say they don't like it now. I can already tell four of them hated their concepts in 2016 way before I was even a fan and it's not surprising they feel comfortable saying this now. The same thing happened with SNSD and Taeyeon from the jump hated performing Gee and OH! Sometimes we as fans don't actually see the internal struggle many female idols go thru when they do cutesy songs because it's almost always never their choice but what grown men wanted for them.
